Terms of Service

Last updated: July 28, 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tubeversity, including our website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Tubeversity helps you turn publicly available YouTube content into structured, trackable courses. You provide a topic, skill level, and target duration, and our curation engine searches YouTube, ranks candidate videos, and assembles them into an ordered course of modules and lessons with progress tracking.

All videos are streamed exclusively through YouTube's official embedded player. Tubeversity does not host, store, download, rehost, modify, or own the videos that appear in a course. We organize links to, and metadata about, content that already exists on YouTube.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. To access most features you must create an account and provide accurate, current information.

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

  • Accounts are for a single person; you may not share, sell, or transfer your account.

  • You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

4. YouTube Content & Third-Party Services

This application uses YouTube API Services. By using Tubeversity you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and acknowledge the Google Privacy Policy.

All videos surfaced through the Service remain the property of their respective creators and are made available under, and subject to, YouTube's Terms of Service. Your use of embedded YouTube content is also governed by those terms and by Google's Privacy Policy.

  • Videos may be edited, made private, or removed by their creators at any time, which may cause lessons to become unavailable. We run periodic link-health checks and aim to suggest replacements, but we do not guarantee the continued availability of any specific video.

  • YouTube may display the creators’ own advertising within embedded videos. Any “ad-free” messaging refers only to Tubeversity’s own experience and does not remove ads served by YouTube or creators.

  • The Service may link to third-party products or services. We are not responsible for third-party content, and your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.

5. Subscriptions, Billing & Free Tier

Tubeversity offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. The free tier includes a limited number of course generations per month and standard curation. Premium subscriptions unlock additional generations and deeper curation features as described on our pricing page.

  • Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through our third-party payment providers. Tubeversity never stores your full payment-card details.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You authorize us and our payment providers to charge your payment method for each renewal.

  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain premium access until the end of the current paid period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods.

  • We may change plan features, limits, or pricing. Material changes to recurring fees will take effect no earlier than your next billing period, with reasonable notice.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to, and not to attempt to:

  • Download, scrape, rehost, cache beyond normal browser operation, modify, or obscure YouTube videos or the YouTube player, or otherwise violate YouTube’s Terms of Service.

  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with usage limits, rate limits, quotas, or any security or access-control features of the Service.

  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or generated courses without our prior written permission.

  • Use the Service to infringe intellectual-property rights, or to distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

  • Reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the Service, or access it through automated means except via interfaces we expressly provide.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and original text, is owned by Tubeversity and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning.

Course structures generated for you may be used for your own learning, but the underlying videos and their content belong to their respective owners. We claim no ownership over third-party video content organized through the Service.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and all curated content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

Tubeversity curates educational content but does not create, verify, or endorse it, and does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or suitability. The Service is not a substitute for accredited, professional, medical, legal, or financial education or advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tubeversity and its officers, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or USD 50.

10. Changes to the Service & Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

12. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Tubeversity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
